🐾 Lend a Paw!
The Falmouth Dog Park is powered entirely by volunteers. Every wagging tail, happy bark, and clean play area is possible because of people who generously give their time to care for this special community space.
Whether you have a few minutes each month or a few hours to spare throughout the year, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Every helping hand—and paw—makes a difference!
🦴 Become a Park Steward
Love visiting the park? Why not help keep it looking its best while you’re here?
Our Park Stewards are the heart of the Falmouth Dog Park. A typical stewardship visit takes just 30–45 minutes and helps ensure the park remains safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.
Steward responsibilities include:
● Emptying waste receptacles
● Sweeping the concrete around bench areas
● Picking up any missed dog waste
● Wiping down the water fountains with a food-safe disinfectant to help reduce the spread of illness
● Walking the perimeter to collect litter and keep the grounds looking their best
The best part? You schedule the days/times that work for you. Most stewards volunteer just one or two visits each month, but every visit makes a meaningful impact.
If you’re already a regular visitor, becoming a steward is an easy and rewarding way to give back to a place that brings so much joy to our dogs and our community.
🎾 Fetch Some Fun at Our Events
Falmouth Dog Park hosts several community events each year that help raise funds, celebrate our four-legged friends, and spread awareness about the park.
Event volunteers may:
● Welcome visitors and answer questions
● Staff our information and merchandise tables
● Assist with setup and cleanup
● Help create a fun, friendly atmosphere for guests and their pups
Whether you can spare an hour or an entire afternoon, your support helps make every event a success.
🌳 Help Keep Our Park Looking Paw-fect
If you enjoy working outdoors, we’d love your help keeping the park beautiful throughout the year.
Maintenance projects may include:
● Raking leaves and sand areas
● Mowing and trimming grass
● Weeding inside the fenced play areas
● Redistributing pea stone
● Picking up litter
● General landscaping and beautification
No special experience is needed—just a willingness to lend a hand. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors, meet fellow dog lovers, and make a lasting difference for the hundreds of dogs and families who visit the park each year.
